Descrição: The Earth System Governance Project is a global, interdisciplinary research network advancing knowledge at the interface between global environmental change and governance. The project aims to explore political solutions and novel, more effective governance systems to cope with global environmental change. The network connects and mobilizes scholars from the social sciences and humanities working from local to global scales.

ECHOES addresses a pressing dilemma at the heart of contemporary Europe: the fact that while the history of empires and colonialism undoubtedly constitutes a shared European past, this past remains strangely silent in official narratives about Europe’s ‘heritage’. We argue that the EU urgently needs not just to acknowledge this phenomenon but to reflexively and progressively include it at the heart of its identity. (http://projectechoes.eu/)

Visando contribuir de forma concreta com os estudos sobre a história da língua portuguesa e sobre a história da documentação a respeito dos quilombos de Palmares, por meio do projeto de pesquisa, pretende-se dar continuidade ao trabalho realizado ao longo dos últimos anos na Universidade de São Paulo, cuja linha de pesquisa predominante tem sido a da Filologia e cujo foco de estudo a história da língua portuguesa, com base em documentação manuscrita.
