The uncertainty created by the spread of COVID-19 has resulted in a range of regulations designed to control the spread of infections. However, the economic and social consequences of such measures have differential impacts on vulnerable households already living in conditions of economic hardship and poor health. This research examines how social, economic, and health inequalities impact the capabilities of households to follow regulations that may be necessary to reduce the spread of infections.

Imprensa e normatização jurídica no Império do Brasil: O caso da Gazeta dos Tribunais (1843-1846)

A partir de revistas jurídicas publicadas no Brasil na primeira metade do século XIX, principalmente a Gazeta dos Tribunais, jornal fundado no Rio de Janeiro pelo jurista Francisco Alberto Teixeira de Aragão, que circulou entre 1843 e 1846, a pesquisa analisa a produção de conhecimento normativo por meio da imprensa, o suporte midiático por excelência do oitocentos.
