Membros: VICTOR ALEXSANDER OLIVEIRA SILVA
Descrição: In this research project, waste prevention behaviour analysis and life cycle assessment will be conducted to elucidate environmental risks and mitigation potentials of waste prevention strategies targeting plastic and food waste in Brazil. This approach to designing waste prevention strategies may also be adapted to other pro-environmental policies in the future (e.g., water consumption, energy efficiency).

policy makers work to avert catastrophic health and economic outcomes due to COVID 19, they are struggling with a difficult question: What makes expert knowledge credible, legitimate, and reliable for use in public policy? That question is especially urgent since national and regional authorities are facing scientific uncertainty and fast-moving events that cross geopolitical borders, and the need for quick action stands in tension with the need to ground policy in robust expert knowledge and convincing analysis.
